Instant Pot Okra Fry - Keto friendly recipe

     

This is Keto Friendly Recipe:

Approximate Net Carbs:
1 cup Okra = 3.8 Net Carbs
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              


INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 tbsp Coconut Oil / Butter
  • 3 cups chopped Okra
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Powder:
    • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
    • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Pepper Powder
  • Tadka/ Tempering:
    • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
    • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
    • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper (optional)
    • Curry Leaves (optional)
    • 2 red chillies (optional)
    • Hing / Asafotida (little)

INSTRUCTIONS:



    • Cut okra into Small Pieces
    • Turn on Instant pot - Saute mode
    • Once pot is hot, add coconut oil
    • Add mustard, cumin seeds, black pepper, red chillies, curry leaves and hing.
    • Add chopped okra - Saute for a minute
    • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt
    • Close the pot with sealing position
    • Cancel Saute mode - Set Steam 0 minutes Low pressure
    • Once it is done, open the lid after Quick Release
    • Add Parmesan Cheese (optional)
